in our class we are all doing information reports the yr 7 and 8 are doing it about triangles doing it about triangles can be hard in a way because we have to do it about 3 different triangles and I did not know what those triangles are these are the triangles Scalene  Isosceles  Equilateral

in our  room8 we change it around we have made it so you can stand or sit on the ground and you can sit any were and change the place we sit when we are doing our work. To help work better

in our class we have been doing print making it is when you get leaves and paint them and then put it on paper and then when you pull it of it makes a print. after we are finish of fish print making we are framing them. Or fish making is when you draw a fish on a piece of wood and dig the wood around it and then put ink on it and put it on paper.

Availll

In our class for reading we are doing availll this is when you watch a movie with subtitles and read the subtitles and then someone will stop the movie and you have to write what the last sentences.

The holidays

I the holidays I went to the movies it was a good movie and to the pool to go for a swim there were a lot of people there it was so loud and so hot in there but the slides were cold.

in our reading group we are reading a book called phantom of terawhiti it is a great book we each read a chapter and then when we are done someone else reads a chapter this book is by des Hunt

for reading we had to do the family car we had to read the sentences and fill in the gapes

My Holiday

camp 2016

For camp we went to Hanmer springs forest camp it was fun we did tree climbing, mountain biking, we went on a waterfall track, orienteering and we got to go to the pools. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.

What we did for tree climbing we put our harnesses on and then we put our helmets on then we had to check them then we were ready to climb we had to have 4 people the climber  the belayer the muscle and the rope manager. there were 2 trees that we could climb. Then we did a milk crate challenge.

Mountain biking was very long we did a 2 hour bike ride we had to go up and down rocky hills it was fun going down the hills.

The waterfall was a long walk but went we got there it was worth it the waterfall was so big and cold.

For orienteering we had a hour to find as many points as we could we had a map and a timer and a pen and paper we had to do some running to get there in time.

And the we had tea and at six we went to the pools it was so fun and after that we had pudding and then supper and then went to bed.

                                         in our math group we had to see how much paper we were recycling each week so what we did is we each got a chunk of paper out of the recycling box and then we had to see how much we had and everyone in our group had to put what we had on the board and the we had to put them altogether
